What if the recipient doesn't have RCS?
RCS requires an Android phone with native messaging enabled (the vast majority in Spain). For total coverage, pair it with the certified SMS, which reaches any phone in the world: many clients use RCS as the main channel for its richness and SMS as the universal safety net.
Legal framework
As across the whole platform, every sending produces an electronic document admissible as evidence (eIDAS Regulation, EU 910/2014), with the events sealed with timestamps and the certificate sealed by two qualified trust service providers: Mensatek and the FNMT.
About certified RCS
How is it different from certified SMS?
RCS adds a verified brand with your logo, documents and images, action buttons and a certified read confirmation. SMS, in exchange, reaches absolutely any phone. They complement each other and share the same balance.
Is the reading really certified?
Yes: when the network returns the read event, it is recorded with date and time and sealed inside the certificate, together with the sending and the delivery.
How much does a certified RCS cost?
15 credits per message: between €0.44 and €0.65 depending on the pack, VAT not included. See the pricing page.
What does the recipient need?
An Android phone with the standard messaging app: nothing to install or set up. If their handset doesn't support RCS, we recommend covering it with certified SMS.
